Rachel completed an internship at Micron Technology this summer as a Technology Development Engineer Intern. Instead of a traditional on-site internship at Micron’s headquarters in Boise, ID, she completed the internship virtually due to COVID restrictions.
The virtual aspect meant that creative experiments and frequent collaborations were crucial. The project focused on utilizing molecular layer deposition techniques to enhance feature size control in memory devices, and was successful despite limited lab work. Rachel was very happy to have been part of this innovative, hardworking team this summer!
