Nick and Joe both successfully defended their PhDs at the end of last year! Nick has been involved in many exciting research ventures in the group over his time. Nick’s efforts in the lab included metal-organic framework systems during his time as an undergraduate student in the group and area selective deposition via experiments and simulations. Joe worked on multiple systems in the group including on omniphobic coating systems and SiOC films. Joe also worked with Michael Dickey on liquid metal oxide film systems. Congrats, Nick! Congrats, Joe! Both are now starting their industrial work experiences with Nick working with ITG Brands and Joe working with ASM!
