Mai successfully defended her PhD this month! Mai has been up to some really cool research looking into a metal-organic framework (MOF) composite system. She also worked exploring benignly synthesized mesoporous Zr-MOFs as well as bio-based linkers for incorporation into fabrics and aerogels systems to keep sustainable, health, and environmental impacts in mind. Mai has also investigated ALD via in-situ FTIR. Congratulations, Mai! Good luck on your next adventure at ASM!
