The CHASE Solar Fuels Hub research was highlighted by UNC-Chapel Hill. The research hub has over 100 people focused on being a pioneer in solar energy research with steps taken towards producing fuel from carbon dioxide, water, and energy, three key components that are formed with the combustion of gasoline. The aim would able to better create sustainable and renewable energy while also reducing carbon dioxide in the environment.
