This past summer, Jimmy took part in an International Research Experience for Students (IRES) program where he was conducting research abroad in Deutschland (Germany). Jimmy was researching 2D MOF systems for electrochemical applications at Technische Universitat Dresden in the Kaskel group where he got to expand his skills and knowledge related to different MOF synthesis techniques and crystallinity analysis while also getting to experience and appreciate German culture. Jimmy definitely recommend others to explore similar opportunities if they have the chance!
