Mai’s from Cairo, Egypt where she finished her M.S. at Cairo University from the Chemical Engineering Department. Nick was raised in Jamestown and is continuing his studies at North Carolina State University where he received a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Stephanie was born and raised in the nearby small town of Bailey in North Carolina. Stephanie is also continuing her studies at North Carolina State University where she received a B.S. in Polymer and Color Chemistry.
Jimmy and Mai started working with Sarah to begin their PhD research journey working with metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and MOF composites while Nick and Stephanie started working with Justin and Rachel on precise lateral control of films during area-selective deposition (ASD) and molecular layer deposition (MLD) of metal cones coupled with enhanced in-situ analytical capabilities, respectively!
