Dennis Lee’s work on developing Metal Organic Framework (MOF)-coated fibers to degrade chemical warfare agents was featured in an article on the NCSU News Website! The article, written by D’Lyn Ford, is titled “Fabrics That Protect Against Chemical Warfare Agents”. It discusses some of the challenges associated with depositing MOFs on fibers, what Dennis has done to overcome these challenges, and what benefits these materials could provide to soldiers who are stationed in areas where chemical warfare is common.
